Cadillac launches the 2021 Escalade ESV

Just in case a standard Cadillac Escalade simply wasn’t sufficiently large for you, introduce yourself to the 2021 Escalade ESV. On Thursday, Cadillac shared the main picture of the customary Escalade’s greater sibling.

Nothing unexpected, it’s an indistinguishable looking machine with a bigger impression; the Escalade ESV is 15 inches longer than the standard SUV. Behind the first row of seats, there’s 142 cubic feet of payload space, or 18% more than the past Escalade ESV. Cadillac says this is a class-driving figure, and is even considerably bigger than the absolutely huge Lincoln Navigator L.

Much the same as the standard Escalade, the Escalade ESV catches no different updates. There’s as yet a 38-inch, bended OLED screen up front to deal with a wide range of data shows, first class materials, Super Cruise and much more. Powertrain choices stay indistinguishable, as well. A 6.2-liter V8 motor stays as the standard motor, and a 10-speed programmed transmission routes the power to the back wheels or each of the four. The 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-six motor is a no-cost alternative, and purchasers can swap in GM’s Magnetic Ride Control and a versatile air suspension, should they feel so slanted.

While a standard Escalade begins at $77,490, after a $1,295 destination charge, the bigger Escalade ESV costs $80,490. Costs increment by just $1,000 contrasted with the active model, and there’s much more in this SUV to cherish this time around.

Cadillac said orders for the 2021 Escalade ESV open today and the SUV will transport out to vendors this fall.
