From the time since season 4 ended, the fans of my hero academia series have been eagerly waiting for the release of my hero academia season 5. The attention of fan has been revolving round the release date and announcement of the new series. It probably seems like the fans do not have to wait till long for the new season to arrive. The first season of my hero academia released in the year 2016. The English language serialization did get license and start in 2015. It is then adapted by Bones as an anime television series. It initially collected in tankobon format and then serialised since 2014 in weekly Shonen jump. My Hero Academia is based on a superhero manga series which is Japanese. It is written and also illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. The story seems to have taken inspiration from elements of superhero comics, like the aesthetics of its characters, and almost all the characters of this series were used to promote the very famous Marvel Studios film Avengers: Infinity War.
What does the story talk about?
The story of the series talks about Izuku Midoriya, a boy who is born without any superpowers. These people are otherwise called Quirks in a world where they have become commonplace. But this main protagonist dreams of becoming a hero himself someday. He is headed by All Might, Japan’s greatest hero, who then shares his Quirk(magical powers) with Midoriya after recognizing his potential. Later then he helps him to get admission into a very prestigious high school for heroes in training.
Who are the major characters?
Izuku Midoriya plays the character of the main protagonist of the series. After his attempt to save Bakugō from a villain, Izuku, an initially Quirkless boy having no superpowers, then gets chosen by All Might to become the ninth holder of One For. Katsuki Bakugō plays the role of protagonist’s childhood friend who gradually turns into arch-rival and classmate. Shōto Todoroki, Ochaco Uraraka, Eijirō Kirishima are some other major characters of this anime series.

The series run for about 4 complete seasons. The final season, my hero academia season 4 is released in 2019 and then went off-air in 2020. Since then the fan following of the superhit anime television series have been waiting for the release of the season 5. Now, this new rumour says that spring 2021 is being finalised for season 5. It seems like fans are completely fine with this. If this new rumour comes true, then season 5 will go back to its roots with a spring release window. The fans can just wait till we get any recent announcement about the release of new season from the production and makers team. Hopefully, this new season will not disappoint its viewers and fans.
