‘Money Heist’ Season 5 Will Not Be Disappointing

One of the main things that got many Netflix-viewers hooked this Coronavirus season was the third installment of ‘Money Heist.’ The Spanish drama had everyone locked by the screen with its ten thrilling and engaging episodes. Several shocking scenes and one or two deaths later, fans were given solace by the season’s finale. It had a major cliffhanger and we all know what that means. We do have another season to look forward to.

If you haven’t watched the fourth season of ‘Money Heist’ then we suggest you stop reading here, as there are many spoilers ahead.

For those who did watch the fourth season, we do remember the note on which it ended, i.e. the death of Nairobi. It was a gut-wrenching scene that all of us had to go through but we did, nonetheless. Following which, we were made aware that Raquel has successfully entered the The Bank of Spain and we see the team rejoicing at her presence. However, we are still not sure why they are excited about having Raquel back. The Professor certainly has big plans in place, as he has put his girlfriend right in the mouth of danger.

This scenery has been overtaken by Alicia’s arrival at Professor’s hideout. This is perhaps the first time that the Professor has come face-to-face with an opposition without any plan in place. We have seen in the finale episode that Alicia is holding a gun against the Professor’s head. At the same time, we all know that Alicia is in trouble as far as the law is concerned.

Netflix has not yet provided a confirmed release date for the upcoming series. However, reports suggest that the upcoming installment is expected to release in April, 2021. Any potential delay caused by the current Coronavirus situation is unaccounted for. We are not sure by what extent the release date of our beloved series will be affected by the ongoing situation. The creator of the series, Alex Pina had in 2019 revealed to the Oprah Magazine that there is a high possibility that they would create several spin-offs. In a statement to the magazine, Pina said, “We do have many possibilities for some spin-offs, yes and I think that’s thanks to the strong and powerful identities of the characters.”

He also made a special comment about Arturito. According to Pina, Arturito is the kind of character who can display aspects of black comedy flawlessly. Fans were rejoiced at the sight of Berlin. Given that Berlin had died in the first season, there wasn’t much to expect of him in the third season. To the surprise of many, he had occupied much screen time in the latest season. Pina stated that even Berlin is expected to reprise his role in the form of flashbacks in the next few installments. He further added that Denver is also another character who is interesting and can be further explored.
