Spanish Web Series “Money Heist” will not be aired after Season 5. On Friday 31st July, Netflix announced that Money Heist will return soon with the fifth and final season. Alex Pina has said that this series is likely to end after season fifth.
Season 5 will be shot in Spain, Denmark and Portugal with the final series consisting of 10 episodes. Before season 5, This series has smashed most records for season four. The fourth season racked up and Incredible 65 million viewers. It has became the most watched non english title on Netflix.
Those who don’t know, Money Heist is a spanish heist crime drama television series created by Alex pina. It was released on Netflix on 2 May 2017. The series received several awards including best drama series at the 46th International Emmy Award, as well as critical acclaim for its sophisticated plot, interpersonal dramas, direction, and for trying to innovate Spanish television.
Money Heist Season 5 Release Date
Money Heist Season 5 was expected to release in January 2021, but coronavirus pandemic stopped the shooting and production of the show for several months. Nearly all the tv shows are witnessing a delay as the production team and actors were forced to stay at their home following social distancing. Fans can expect a delay of six months from the scheduled launch date of Money Heist season 5.

No official update from the team of Money Heist has been revealed yet. But the internet is buzzing around with several fan theories. Some of the most popular theories suggest that Inspector Alicia Sierra who has been betrayed by the government will join Professor’s team and will help him in completing the heist. This theory gets a boost by the fact that she is a widow pregnant, made scapegoat by the government and police department. By joining Professors’ team she will get the money; she might then runaway along with the money and her child and live the rest of her life in hiding.
Only the release of Money of Season 5 will tell exactly what will happen in the series and how Bank of Spain heist will end.
