Money Heist Season 4 (La Casa De Papel) has taken the world by storm amid coronavirus pandemic and is on the verge of becoming the most popular show on Netflix. Fans are already becoming impatient and it is becoming harder for them to wait for a year to see the Money Heist season 5.
Netflix dropped Money Heist season 4 on 3 April 2020 and since then the show has topped the charts across the globe. In the first quarter results released by Netflix, the La Casa De Papel is projected to garner over 65 million household streams within the first four weeks after going live. It will be the highest this year, surpassing Tiger King‘s 64 million streams. It seems people have really liked the Spanish heist crime drama television series created by Álex Pina.
Will there be Money Heist Season 5 (La Casa De Papel part 5)?
Netflix usually monitors the performance of a TV series for a month before deciding whether to make the next season of a show. However, it is very unlikely that the streaming giant will not proceed with Money Heist season 5, after witnessing the mammoth success of season 4.
Also, season 4 of La Casa De Papel was ended in a cliffhanger situation where it showed two important scenes. In the first scene, Raquel (Lisbon), the girlfriend of The Professor (Alvaro Morte), was dropped from the helicopter on the roof of Bank of Spain (where the heist is in progress) and rejoins the team. In the second scene, Inspector Alicia Sierra finds the location of Professor and points a gun at him. Will she shoot or join Professor’s team as Raquel did? That’s left for season 5.
When will Money Heist Season 5 Release?
As of now, Netflix has not decided on the release date of Money Heist season 5.
Looking at the history, the first part was released on 20 December 2017, followed by the second part on 6 April 2018. In April 2018, Netflix renewed the series with a significantly increased budget for 16 new episodes total. Part 3, with eight episodes, was released on 19 July 2019. Part 4, also with eight episodes, was released on 3 April 2020.
We can assume that season 5 of Money Heist to air somewhere around in May 2021.

Nairobi got killed by Gandia with a headshot, so don’t expect her to return in the season 5 of Money Heist.
