Initially, the second season of Modern Love was speculated to arrive in October 2020. But, there is no official date yet. Certainly, people were guessing that the production must have been paused due to COVID-19.
However, the show has reportedly resumed its productions with the assistance of Film Schenectady. Therefore, the production team announced about their search to cast locales for Modern Love season 2.

The filming for the show is scheduled to continue through October. The Schenectady film commissioner, Donna Pennell said, “The arrival of the Amazon Prime series, Modern Love, is huge for Film Schenectady, and a welcomed change for city businesses,”
Recently, Times Union also updated that the series is expected to film in and around Washington Park. The shoot might take place between Wednesday and Friday. Therefore, the city is planning to close several roads to allow the production company to film in nearby spots on Central Avenue and the Center Square neighborhood.
In short, the production for the Modern Love has been resumed. The work is in progress. Modern Love season 2 is highly likely to be released in 2021.
