This series spins around drugs, guns, goons and lawlessness. It tells the rule of goons and mafia people who do a lot of crimes without being getting caught by the police and some are done with the help of them. The story of the movie is related to the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh, where these incidents took place. The first season of Mirzapur consists of 9 episodes in total.
