Finally, Mirzapur season 2 is confirmed with the release, which is gonna be screened on 23 October 2020. Two years after the victory of the first season of Mirzapur, the makers paid back with another season, as fans are more excited about the first season’s storyline.
The series is Amazon Prime video’s third made-up Indian web series, which is giving rise to a second sequel for the first time.
The premise of Mirzapur:
Mirzapur season 1 is an action crime thriller web television series, which revolves around firearms businesses, goons, and drugs, which is occurring in the state Mirzapur and which is directed by Karan Anshuman and Gurmeet Singh—the first season aired on 16 November 2018 on Amazon Prime Video.
The story is all about millionaire gun exporter and great mafia don, Akhandanand Tripathi of Mirzapur. His son Munna spoils everything while trying to be cool. He is disgraceful and happens to cause a scene at a wedding where he kills the groom by misstep and passes the ways through a strict lawyer Ramakant Pandit who takes Munna’s case, and his two sons Guddu and Bablu, are compelled to work for the king of Mirzapur- Akhandanand Tripathi.
Mirzapur season 2: Release date, plot, and casts
On 24 August 2020, Mirzapur season 2 release date was declared open with a video announcement, starring a voice-over by the character Guddu Bhaiya as Ali Fazal. At first, Mirzapur season 2 was foreseen to release on 2 December of 2020 but luckily got released soon. The release date; will be aired either at midnight IST or at the usual time based on Amazon Prime India.
Amazon prime; has made an offer to all watchers, where they launch free watchable Mirzapur season 1 from 25 September to 30 September and has arranged weekend binge-watch for its viewers. Those who are not Amazon prime video account holders get a chance to watch it.
The expected plot will be Munna assassinates Guddu’s brother Bablu, and the wife would be- Sweety at the end, which establishes a stage for a second sequel; sweety’s sister will plan an act of revenge against Munna and his father, Kaleen. In season 2, we can expect additional new characters- Vijay Varma, who made his remarkable performance in Gully boy, Priyanshu Painyuli, Aisha Talwar, Amit sial, and Arjun Sharma.
