Horror lovers, we’ve got some terrific great news for you: Locke and Key Season 2 is coming. The creepiest part is that we always don’t know when, though. Driven by the popular comic series of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez, the first season introduced a substantial horror fare to Netflix. Still, new specifics of the next season have unfortunately started to dry up.
It turned out to be challenging to adjust the first season, but the uncertainty created by the latest pandemic suggests it’s possible the second will not be smooth sailing either. That could clarify why, except the fact that Locke and Key season 2 is at least in the writing process, we haven’t learned anything new about it.

However, we do realize that Hill and Rodríguez aren’t worried about making adjustments when it comes to translating stories from the comics. “It needs to act as a TV program,” Hill told Entertainment Weekly in response to concerns regarding the decreased presence of Sam Lesser and the combining of two significant keys in season 1.
