Locke and Key is an American supernatural horror drama web series. It has been a long road to get a television series for this series. First, it was supposed to come to Fox, and then it was planned for Hulu.

The series was developed by Carlton Cuse, Meredith Averill, and Aron Eli Coleite, which is based on a comic book by the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez—premiered On Netflix. Rendell Locke is killed by his former student Sam Lesser. His wife decides to move with three children from Seattle to Matheson, Massachusetts, and stay in the Rendell family home Keyhouse. The children soon discover the number of mysterious keys through the house. These keys can open various doors in magical ways. The children soon learn that a demonic entity is also in search of the keys for its own malevolent purposes.
