Lisa was born exactly nine months after Elvis and Priscilla Presley got married, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis, in Memphis, Tennessee. She lived with her mother after her parents separated and became the joint heir of her father’s inheritance along with her grandparents, and the sole heir after they too passed away not long after. She inherited her father’s estate on her 25th birthday which was worth $100 million and sold 85% of it in 2004.
She had met Freddie Mercury during a Queen concert in the late 1970s and gave him her father’s scarf and at the same time expressed her love for theatrics.
Career
Presley released her debut album To Whom It May Concern on April 8, 2003, and it hit the fifth spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart and was gold-certified later that year in June. Presley had written most of the songs in the album herself.
Her second album, Now What which released in 2005 reached number 9 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Presley had co-written 10 songs on that one, and one of the songs, Shine, even has a guest appearance from Pink.
Her third album Storm & Grace came out in 2012, it was produced by Oscar and Grammy recipient T Bone Burnett and it too received many positive reviews.
