Canadian web-television series directed by Jacob Tierney and created and developed by Jared Keeso, Letterkenny, that has already premiered eight seasons on stream platform Hulu, has been renewed. The creators announced the renewal of the “Letterkenny Season 9” in June 2020 which can be stream on Hulu.
This series began as a YouTube web series titled Letterkenny Problems then it was commissioned as a television series by Crave in March’2k15. It was debuted in February’2k16, and later also aired on The Comedy Network. This show followed the residents of Letterkenny, a small rural community in Ontario slightly based on Keeso’s hometown of Listowel, Ontario. The genre is a sitcom and the original language is English and 8 seasons with54 episodes. This series won the award for Best Comedy Series at the 5th Canadian Screen Award, 2k17.
Overview:
The story revolves around a small rural Canadian community of name Letterkenny and most episodes open with the text: “There are 5000 people in Letterkenny. These are their problems.” focuses on siblings Wayne and Katy who run a small farm and produce which was set-up with help from Wayne’s friends Daryl and Squirrely Dan. It also focuses on Reilly and Jonesy(ice hockey players ) who were best friends and were involved in an on-and-off polyamorous relationship with Katy.
This series received widespread acclaim from critics, particularly for its writing, acting, and the uniqueness and personality of the title character. Waller-Bridge won the British Academy Television Award for Best Female Comedy Performance for the first series. The second series received 11 Primetime Emmy Award nominations and won six, with Waller-Bridge earning Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress, and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series; additional acting nominations were received by Clifford, Colman, and guest stars Fiona Shaw and Kristin Scott Thomas.The series received the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series and Best Actress for Waller-Bridge, and a nomination for Scott
Letterkenny Season 9 release date
The creators announced the renewal of the ninth season in June 2020 but as we all know due to this coronavirus everything is getting delayed and filming is hampered. There is no official release date but we are expecting the show to release somewhere at the beginning of 2021.

Letterkenny Season 9 plot
In Season 4 we will see the people of Letterkenny and their sufferings. The basic idea is about two brothers, Katy and Wayne who are farmers taking care of a small farm.
The coming season may bring us the grown people of the three gatherings just as their endless battles. We hope to confront difficulties among themselves. These are simply assumptions.
