The CW series, Legacies is now officially renewed for a third season. The update for the third season was circulated by the producers via a tweet early this year, on 8th of January. The tweet read, “There are more monsters to fight. #Legacies has been renewed for season 3”.
Legacies had made its debut on The CW on the 25th of October, 2018. It is a spin-off of The Vampire Diaries franchise which also helms the series The Originals. The President of The CW, Mark Pedowitz makes an official announcement about season 3 of Legacies. “The CW will start its new season in January 2021, when we will launch our regular primetime schedule,” Mark Pedowitz added. Legacies revolve around the story of Hope Mikaelson, enrolled in the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. Created by Julie Plec, it is a supernatural occult Fiction series.
What to expect from Legacies S 3
We see that the golden arrow pierces Landon and the sleeping spell puts Hope to sleep.
Season 3 of Legacies is expected to bring back various characters from the Vampire Diaries and the Originals. Plec hints that Caroline and Bonnie might make an appearance but this is just a speculation. Klaus played by Joseph Morgan has said that he won’t appear in the series Legacies.
Moreover, We can expect the following characters, returning to this season to play the respective roles. However, Show Maker has not revealed, even a clue regarding the cast for Season 3.

- Kaylee Bryant will be played by Josie,
- Jenny Boyd will be played by Lizzie,
- Matt Davis will be played by Alaric,

Pedowitz had remarked that Legacies S 3 will release in January next year. It was to release early but the pandemic has significantly delayed it. The second season was released on The CW on October 10, 2019. It is available on Netflix for streaming.
Is there any trailer?
Legacies S3 will release early next year, and the trailer is not released as of now. The producers have not teased what will happen in the upcoming season. Till then, stay tuned with tecake.
