Kingdom: Will there be a third season? Click to find out

The kingdom is a South Korean political, thriller, and horror web drama television series created by Kim-Seong hoon, and written by Kim-Eun hee. The series is adapted from a Korean webcomic series titled The Kingdom of the Gods, drawn by Yang-Kung lii and written by Kim-Eun hee. The kingdom is one of the first Korean Netflix original which was released in the year 2019 on 25 January. The series was recognized globally and was appreciated by the critics and audience. Soon, it was renewed for the second season which was released on 13 March 2020. Fans are eager for the third part of this exciting and thrilling Korean historical drama.

The plot of Kingdom season 3

The story of the Kingdom revolves around a prince namely, Lee Chang. While searching for a treatment for his father’s terminal illness, he comes across a building which was full of dead bodies. This turns the plot around, and the horror and thriller start to take place. Later, the prince found out that the dead bodies aren’t really dead, and could come out alive anytime. So, he needs to save his people and kingdom from this horrific situation amidst the political threats and conspiracy. So, in the third season of Kingdom, we might get to see how the prince saves his tribe and throne from the upcoming danger of the dead rising and life-threatening political scenarios. The director said that the series might have 10 seasons. A treat for the fans!

The cast of Kingdom 3

The cast of the third season of Kingdom will include the previous leads who will be reprising their respective roles that include, Ju Ji-hoon, Ryu-Seung, Bae-Doona, Jeon-Seoyk hoo, Kim Syung-Ku, Kim Sang-ho, Heo-Jeong ho, and few others.

Release Date of Kingdom 3

Due to the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19, the production has been kept on hold for the third season of Kingdom. So, it is anticipated that it will release by the end of 2021 or in the first quarter of 2022.
