Kimberly was born in Los Angeles, California on October 21, 1980. She has one elder sister, a younger sister, and a younger brother. Her mother is of English, Irish, Dutch, and Scottish ancestry, and her father was of third-generation American. Both her parents got separated in the year 1991 and her mother married again.
