After two mega money-making movies in the franchise and the initial 1995 movie starring Robin Williams, the newly formed franchise announced that Jumanji 4 was finally in its developmental stage. The first Jumanji movie featuring the dynamic, much-loved duo of Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson, released on December 5th, 2017, titled “Jumanji: Welcome to the jungle.” The movie was an instant hit and finished the year as the fifth highest-grossing film making over 962.1 million.
Following that was “Jumanji: The Next Level” on December 20th, 2019. Jake Kasdan is the director of the movie. It wouldn’t be much of a stretch to assume that the next film may only come out sometime in late 2021 as it is still in its early stages.
Plot
At the end of season 2, it became very apparent that the sequel would be coming thanks to a sneak peek we received at the end. The teaser we saw showed the game coming out into the real world, just like in the 1995 movie. Although not much has decided about the fourth part of the film, it speculated that the same characters would go back into the game to turn into their avatars and solve the problem.
Trailers for the movie can only be expected by July 2021, so for now, its all just fan theories that we can go with, but with that cast and storyline, it’ll be hard to expect anything other than another hit!

Whichever line the plot goes along, with the cast this franchise has assembled, it’s always going to be a highly anticipated movie, and its no surprise why that’s the case either!
