Lionsgate is preparing to bring Keanu Reeves starrer John Wick for two consecutive sequels back to back. John Wick 4 is to release in theatres in 2022 during the Memorial Day weekend.
Lionsgate CEO John Feltheimer has remarked that the team uses the time during the hiatus to prepare the scripts for the coming two installments. Feltheimer said, “We hope to shoot both John Wick 4 & 5 back to back when Keanu becomes available early next year.”
John Wick franchise has become a cult symbol in this decade of its production with three phenomenal movies to date. The three movies gross almost $584.2 Million with Keanu Reeves in the titular role. John Wick Chapter 4: When will it get released? Is the release date declared?
The movie will be directed by Chad Stahelski, with a script by Derek Kolstad. The franchise had made its debut in 2014, and the fourth chapter was initially scheduled to release on May 21, 2021.
The movie has now been delayed to May 27, 2022, Memorial Day Weekend. But the good news is we will get two sequels back to back if the production is on schedule as planned.
Reeves is presently shooting for Matrix 4 in Berlin, Germany, produced by Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow. The shooting of John Wick 4&5 depends on Keanu Reeves’ schedule. Reeves was set to shoot for John Wick Chapter 4 after Matrix 4. John Wick will also take Gun-Fu training for the fourth chapter of John Wick. We can expect to see slick and stylish action sequences starring Keanu Reeves.

5) Lance Reddick will be seen as Charon, among others.
John Wick, Chapter 4 has not been titled yet. The third chapter was officially known as John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum. Chad Stahelski is also working on the potential tv spin-off of John Wick titled as The Continental.
