Jerome Jerry Richard Krause (1939 – 2017) also known as Jerry Krause was an American sports scout and also executive. He from 1985 to 2003 was the Chicago Bulls’ general manager in the National Basketball Association (NBA). His career in sports consists of ranks as a scout or general manager for the Baltimore Bullets, Chicago White Sox, and the Chicago Bulls.
His time with the Bulls was led by legendary player Michael Jordan, which included their six NBA championships between 1991 and 1998. Krause won the NBA Executive of the Year Award in 1988 and 1996. He was then inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame posthumously in the year 2017.
