The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has halted the production of television series and movies. The entertainment industry has been hit hard all over the world, making thousands of people jobless in mere 6 six months. Not to forget the divorce battles and custody disputes which are now raging more than ever. Our own Jeremy Renner a.k.a Hawkeye is one such person who is going through a crisis on account of both these things. Jeremy Renner’s current net worth is $80 million. According to the reports, the Avenger actor has requested the court for a reduction in his monthly child support expenses. He has declared that his income is below zero due to the pandemic.
Is Jeremy Renner unable to pay for his child support?
Previously between the years 2017 and 2019, Jeremy figured his own average net monthly income to be approximately $350,000 per month. However now, the actor is claiming that he is falling by an average of $18,000 per month. He has stated that as new performing jobs have been inadequate and hard to find, with indefinitely delayed productions, he has filed a legal request in Los Angeles Superior Court.
He also explained that he is not positive about the situation turning favorable until next year. He explained that most of the productions will not proceed by the end of this year. Therefore, all the previous projects lined up for him will likely cancel or get postponed.
What is the reason that Jeremy is unable to pay for child support?
Due to these reasons, Jeremy Renner wants to bring down his child support expenses from $30,000 to $11,000 per month to ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco, for their daughter, Ava. He also mentions some of his other monthly expenditures, like the $18,279 mortgage payment for his Laurel Canyon mansion and another one of almost $11,500 per month for a Reno vacation property, in the file. According to Jeremy, his total monthly expenses come to approximately $100,000 per month, and child support is putting more pressure on him.
