It has been a sad year of so many good souls departing. Yet another one writer of the famous television show “This Is Us” Jas Waters is no more. She breathed her last on Thursday at the very young age of 39. This sad news has been confirmed by the This Is Us official Twitter account while the cause of the writer’s death is not disclosed yet.
The official handle of This is Us wrote on its Twitter handle that “The entire #ThisIsUs family was devastated to learn of Jas Waters passing. In our time together, Jas left her mark on us and ALL over the show. She was a brilliant storyteller and a force of nature. We send our deepest sympathies to her loved ones. She was one of us. RIP @JasFly.”

Besides that, the representatives of Jas Waters have also confirmed the news of her demise through its Twitter account and wrote,” It is with extremely heavy hearts that all of us at RMG mourn the life of our client & friend, Jas Waters. Jas was a talented & gifted writer, an amazing person, & a sweet soul who will be forever missed. Though she is no longer with us, her impact will be felt for years to come.”

After getting the news of Jas Waters’ demise, the entertainment industries are shocked, and many stars have come forward to share their grief and condolences through their Twitter account. The lead star of the This Is Us television show Mandy Moore also shared his grief with the writer’s loss on his Twitter account and tweeted that “Sending love and light to @JasFly’s family and loved ones.”

Apart from that, the famous American author Jason Reynolds also showed his sorrow and remembered the brilliant writer via his Twitter handle.

Jas was incredibly good with her writing skills. She was also known as Jas Fly. Some of her famous TV shows are Hood Adjacent With James Davis, VH1 The Breaks, MTV’s Real-world, Showtime’s Kidding. Some of the movies for which she had worked were Save The Last Dance, What Men Want, Hardball. She successfully ran an entertainment Blog, interviewed many celebrities like Drake, Joan Rivers, Jay-Z, Spike Lee, Ava DuVernay, and also had her own column in a news outlet.
The most recent and hit work was This Is Us and wrote 18 episodes for this series. We were saddened by the news of yet another creative soul passing away.
