The whole world is distressing due to the deadly spread of coronavirus, the film industry is also in line, and the release of many Hollywood films and TV series have also come to a halt, leading to the postponing of many movies. There is also news that the upcoming James Bond film “No Time to Die” could also be delayed until the next year 2021.
Initially, James Bond: No Time To Die was scheduled to release in April 2020, but it was postponed to November 2020 because of the most infectious COVID-19. However, the way coronavirus cases are continuously increasing, it is frightening, so the release of this Daniel Craig starrer’s film “No Time To Die” has been postponed yet again. Now, it is expected to be out in 2021.
There are reports which suggest that the delay in the release of the film is not only due to the extraordinary coronavirus. It was also declared by the YouTube Channel, Midnight’s Edge that some weeks ago, the decided release date, a test screening for No Time To Die, was hosted, and it did not receive a good review. Some of the sources also claimed that a recent test screening of the upcoming movie, “No Time To Die,” did not go well. However, there is no clue about what reviews were received by the test audiences.
But, considering the ongoing coronavirus, no assurance can be made that in a few months, the James Bond movie will be released. One of our sources suggested that as the film would have a great fortune, it will be launched next year rather than by 2020, with fewer viewers in the cinemas.
One thing that will not change in the upcoming James Bond movie directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga is that it will debut in theaters. The budget is estimated to hit 250 million dollars significantly. It is not likely that a movie of this magnitude will earn profits, except at high VOD rates.
In James Bond’s 25th, Rami Malek, aka Bohemian Rhapsody, will be the villain, with many familiar faces returning as well, which include Ralph Fiennes, Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, and Ben Whishaw while we will also see the other new cast members in the film, including Ana de Armas and Lashana Lynch. As reported, there will be a loss of 30 million dollars, and it is likely to increase even more if the delay increases.
As reported by Metro, this would not be the only future blockbuster that will face a tough time. Due to the toxic coronavirus, the release date of several films was postponed. Because the film schedule stays apparent before July, James Bond: No Time To Die is expected to be moved through next year.
However, according to the present situation, it is impossible to predict the future. Because of that, one could not say that until when the movies will be delayed.
