Jaimie King is an American-born model and actress who started off with the stage name James King during the early stages of her career due to some conflict of interest issues within the agency that represented her.
King was a successful model and was discovered when she was aged just 14, in 1993. She has appeared in some famous fashion magazines, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, and Mademoiselle to name but a few. She began her acting career in 1998 and has since appeared in some notable movies such as Pearl Harbor, Bulletproof Monk, My Bloody Valentine, Sin City, and various small roles as well. Jaimie King has also starred in the TV show Hart of Dixie and in 2016 she landed the lead role in the movie Mistletoe Promise and voiced Aurra Sing on Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

King was born on April 23, 1979, aged 41, and is the daughter of Robert and Nancy King. She is the wife of Kyle Newman and the mother of Leo Thames Newman and James Knight Newman. She is a 5’8″ tall model/actress who has been active since 1993. Her siblings are Robbie, Sani, and Barry King.
Early Life
Nancy’s mother was a former beauty queen. She has three siblings, older sister Sandi, younger sister Barry, and a younger brother Robert. Jaimie got her name from the 1970s TV series The Bionic Woman character Jamie Sommers, which was played by Lindsay Wagner. Her parents got divorced in 1994.
King has attended several modeling schools throughout her life, including Nancy Bound’s Studios, Westside High School, and the University of Nebraska.

King’s talent was discovered when she was 14. Studying at Nancy Bound’s Studios, she was spotted performing at her graduation fashion show organized by model agent Michael Flutie. King was then invited to New York City to begin modeling professionally.
Jaimie King has had an established modeling career. By age 15, she had appeared in esteemed magazines such as Vogue, Allure, and Seventeen. At 16, she was featured in Harper’s Bazaar and Glamour. She made the cover of the New York Times Magazine on February 4, 1996. She co-hosted House of Style along with fellow model-turned-actress Rebecca Romjin in 1998, which is a fashion show hosted by MTV.
King has worked alongside celebrities such as Halle Berry, Julianne Moore, and Eva Mendez during her campaigns and was even chosen by Jay-Z to be the face of his company Rocawear.

Acting
King’s first appearance on the big screen was as a 17-year-old nurse in the blockbuster World War II romance Pearl Harbour. After appearing in several other small roles in movies and TV shows alike, her breakthrough came with the movie Bulletproof Monk, in which she was in the lead cast. She landed dual roles as twins Goldie and Wendy in black-and-white anthology drama Sin City and it’s sequential release Sin City: A Dame to Kill For as well. She also played Alexandria in the Al Pacino drama Two for the Money.
King had also expressed her interest in playing Catwoman in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Trilogy, but the role eventually went to Anne Hathaway.
She has also appeared in Lana Del Ray’s music video Summertime Sadness, which was directed by her current spouse Kyle Newman.
