It Chapter Two is a American horror film released in 2019 which is the second part of the film It released in 2017. Both films are based on the novel written by Stephen King in 1986. Andy Muschietti is the film’s director, after the first film, whose screenplay was written by Gary Dauberman. Is set in 2016, which happens 27 years after the events of the first film. The actors are Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, Andy Bean, and Bill Skarsgård, who came back as Pennywise the Dancing Clown. It is the second part of the It film franchise.
It Chapter Two got premiered on August 26, 2019 in Los Angeles, and got released in theatres in the United States on September 6, 2019.
What happens in Chapter 2?
In Derry, Maine, a man sees his boyfriend murdered by Pennywise after some psychotic youths assault them and throw him off a bridge. Mike Hanlon discovers that It has returned, and calls his childhood friends, Bill Denbrough, Ben Hanscom, Beverly Marsh, Richie Tozier, Eddie Kaspbrak, and Stanley Uris, back to Derry to keep their promise that they made 27 years ago to kill It if it came back. While the others travel to Derry with hazy memories, Stan commits suicide after being contacted. The Losers meet for dinner and Mike brings out their memories before they are get manipulated by hallucinations and know about Stan’s suicide.
How did they end it?
The group performs a ritual in the remains of the meteor that brought It to Earth. The ritual catches the Deadlights in a contained jar, but It comes out from the jar as a big red balloon, which bursts, revealing It in two combined forms, Pennywise and a spider.
Mike goes to face Pennywise and almost gets close to being eaten, but Richie get successful in distracting It, by getting caught in It’s Deadlights. Eddie saves him, but he gets injured severely. The Losers bully Pennywise by showing that they are not scared anymore and calling Pennywise different and funny names to make it weaker and small, which caused Pennywise to get smaller.
Mike rips out It’s heart; he and the Losers crush it and finally kill It. Though, Eddie dies from his injuries, and the Losers have no other choice other than to leave him when the cavern implodes, inturn destroying the Neibolt House.
