The walking dead is a famous American television series which is based on the comic book series by the same name of Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. The genre of the walking dead is a post-apocalyptic horror series. It was premiered in October 2010 and exclusively broadcasts on AMC in the United States and by Fox networks group internationally. The production premiered a total of 10 seasons as of now and the final and eleventh season has been renewed and would soon hit the television. What is the storyline of Walking Dead 11?
This famous television series features a large extensive cast as survivors of a zombie apocalypse, who are trying hard to stay alive under the constant fear and threat of attacks from the zombies, otherwise known as “walkers”. Anyhow, with the fall of humanity, these survivors also are facing obstacles from other groups of living survivors who have formed their own groups and communities with a pre-set of laws and morals.
The plot and story of The Walking Dead take place post worldwide zombie apocalypse. The zombies also referred to as “walkers”, shuffling towards living humans and all other creatures to eat them. They are fascinated by noise, as gunshots, and to different smells, as of humans. When initially it seemed that only humans that are bitten or scratched by walkers can turn into fellow walkers, it is revealed early that all humans carry this pathogen which is responsible for the mutation. The series leads on sheriff’s deputy Rick Grimes, who wakes up from a coma. When he was in a coma, the world has been taken control by walkers. He then becomes the leader of the group of survivors from the Georgia region as they attempt to survive and protect themselves from the attacks of the walkers.

Andrew Lincoln plays the role of Rick Grimes who is the series’ protagonist, the series revolves around him. He is a former sheriff’s deputy. Rick is the leader of a group of survivors of the Atlanta region and later becomes the leader of Alexandria. Andrew is seen from season 1 to season 9 in this series playing the centre role. Sarah Wayne Callies plays the character of Lori Grimes who is Rick’s wife in the series. She later then in the series has an affair with Shane when she thought Rick was dead. Laurie Holden has been assigned the role of Andrea who is a former civil rights attorney and one of the members of the original Atlanta group of survivors. These are some of the main characters of the series. The walking dead has an extensive and wonderful cast and crew to its account.

The first season of The Walking Dead was released back in 2010 and the second season got its renewal in the year 2011. As of now, there have been 10 seasons premiered of this television series. The last season, the walking dead-10 was aired in 2019. The series got a renewal for its final and end season in 2020. The first six seasons received a massive appreciation while the 7th and 8th season received mixed reviews from the critics. Overall it had a decent rating throughout its run time.
The AMC and production announced that there will be The Walking Dead season 11 soon on air. The pre-production came to a stop due the COVID-19 pandemic and soon work will resume. Fans and audience need to wait till 2021, for it has been announced that The Walking Dead will air in the upcoming year.
