Is The Vampire Diaries leaving Netflix UK in November 2020?

The Vampire Diaries is one of the most loved shows on Netflix. But in a recent news released by Netflix, it has been revealed that the series will be leaving this streaming platforms from the selected locations.

While you might have been binge watching the series, you might not be able to stream it on Netflix soon. The entire set was added on extensive Netflix streaming platform in 2013.

To stream any series on Netflix, the platform requires a license. Unfortunately, the license for The Vampire Diaries is expiring and it seems that Netflix is not ready to renew the license of the series. Originally streaming on The CW from 2009-2017, Netflix used to distribute the series to the viewers worldwide.

The Vampire Diaries has a total of eight seasons till date. The series is currently scheduled to exit from Netflix in the United Kingdom for the moment. It will leave the Netflix UK on November 1st, 2020.

Three years after the series winded up its final season, it is now scheduled to exit Netflix UK. Beside The Vampire Diaries, Total Drama has also exited the streaming service, Netflix globally.
