Richard Rayner’s fictional play was all set to renew its third part. Again, to be produced under the direction of Richard Rayner & Don Handfield.

Sadly, History Network, the publishers of the show, has announced officially the cancellation of The Knightfall Season 3 in May 2020.
Yet according to some media speculation, it can be possible to be back if any other channel could take the play other than the History channel.

Fans were expecting the plot of this historical play to spread out from the same cliff-hanger from which it has been left in the final episode of the second season.
In the conclusion, we got to see Landry defy his arch-army by the slaying of King Philips. The leaving of the Templars is suspense for the viewers as to how they handled that escape.
More apparently, if the Knightfall Season 3 ever happened, it would more be centered on Pop Cement, who deceived Templars by being King Philip’s puppet. Therefore, the third part would assure you to take you on an exciting ride than the other one. But after the end of the show by History, it is so disappointing for the fans.
