When is Inside Edge returning with season 3?

Inside Edge season 3, a show by Karan Anshuman(the creator), was originally launched on 10th July 2017. With its vast fanbase, using decent cricket scores, the show has been renewed for the second season. This automatically led to the fans anticipating for one more season of it.

Sources confirm that there is no official statement concerning the release of the next season. Wuhan-emerged coronavirus and its transmission into a global pandemic badly affected the Indian media and brought most of the entertainment projects to a stop. This surely confirms that inside edge season 3 will take some more time, at least not this year. Fans are high with anticipation and all we can expect a season 3 near mid-2021.

Cast

The cast in the show has been the backbone behind its success in the earlier seasons. It is likely that most of the cast members will be reprising their roles if the season is renewed. Vivek Oberoi can be seen as Vikrant Dhawan, owner of the sports management committee. Richa Chadha can play the role of Zarina Malik, one among the proprietor of Mumbai mavericks. Aamir Bashir, as Yashvardhan Patil, the president of the Indian cricket board. Sayani Gupta, the FMSP star, can be seen as an analyst of Mumbai Maverirkcs as Rohini Raghvan. Sapna Pabb and Angad Bedi are very likely to be featured as well. Karan Anshuman is expected to come back in season 3 with Kanishk Varma very likely joining as a new face.

Expected Storyline

The storyline revolves around Mumbai Mavericks,  a T20 cricket team Set in a landscape of conflicting interests where power and money go hand in hand, the series traces the ups and downs in the powerplay league as Mumbai mavericks face ownership problems along with allegations of match-fixing. Therefore, the third round is expected to pick up fro there. Fans are anticipating what might happen in the power play league following the ban oof Mumbai mavericks.
