Report: Flipkart’s The Big Billion Day discounts are fake

The Big Billion Day shopping sale from Flipkart is almost here. After waiting for so many days, the Indian retail giant is finally giving huge discount on every product across several categories. It is without a doubt that it is probably the biggest sale in the entire history of Flipkart.

Flipkart is giving a discount of 30% to 60% on almost every product, including laptops, mobiles, clothing, personal care, on the website. The deal that are being offered by Flipkart can be compared with the ‘Black Friday’ in US, however, on the flip side the company is trying to make a fool out of the buyers.

Flipkart is shooting the price of some products, which can later sell with a discount of 30% or more. In just one day the prices of most of the products were increased to a significant amount, and in reality the company is only selling them at a price they had earlier.

Going with one of the deal the company is offering on Nike FS Lite Training shoes. The company bumped the price of this pair of shoes from 3297 INR to 5495 INR in just a day – Thanks to a plugin from our friends, Compare Hatke. The plugin that is available for your browsers allows you to do a reality check of these websites.

Not only this, Flipkart is trying to do same on every product, which again falls under unfair business methods. However, the company is still not giving any discount or offers on the products such as Apple MacBook Pro and has maintained the price.

During the Big Billion Day sale, Flipkart is not accepting any cancellations or refund.
