And she also revealed the interesting facts about how her newborn child’s name is connected to her own name. The Lola rapper, Iggy Azalea recently blessed with a baby boy in June. And there were rumours that Australian rapper is naming her child ‘Gilbert’. In fact, she was asked by a fan that why she choose such name, to which Started singer gave an amazing reply and denied to the rumours as well.
She disclosed her newborn child name by posting an audio clip on her Instagram post on Tuesday. An adorable audio recording titled ‘Amethyst and Onyx’ was shared by the rapper where she is heard talking to the newborn. It was revealed by the Fancy singer that the name Onyx pays homage to her birth name which is Amethyst. So she is also known as Amethyst Amelia Kelly.
In the audio recording which was posted on social media, she is heard asking her cooing baby that “Baby boy, are you going to say something to me?”.
Since the moment she shared the post, her social media account got flooded with lots of comments and likes. A fan commented on the post that “Your names go so well together omg,”. To which Azalea sweetly replied as, “We besties forever.”
As yet, it has not been posted any pictures or other details about Onyx by the singer.
Nearly a month ago, the announcement of her baby boy was made by the “Pretty Girls” singer on June 10 through her Instagram post. She wrote that “I kept waiting for the right time to say something, but it feels like the more time passes, the more I realize that I’m always going to feel anxious to share the news that is giant with the world,” the caption read. “I want to keep his life private but want to make it clear he is not a secret & I love him beyond words.”
Our singer is a very creative one who invented her stage name by taking her childhood dog’s name Iggy and the street in Australia where she lived Azalea to be treated as her stage name.
While Azalea was touring in 2018 she came across Playboi Carti and they are dating now. There is no such official confirmation for their engagement also as many saw a diamond ring on her left hand.
