Henry Danger has winded up its lengthy run on Nickelodeon. Henry Danger which had originally aired from July 26, 2014, through March 21, 2020, is now over. But, we can still expect the show to revive in future as a spin-off.
Why did “Henry Danger” close its production?
Henry Danger initially used to premiere with 20 episodes which were later expanded to 26 episodes. After a long run for five seasons till March 2020, the series abruptly ended.
Jace Norman, who is seen as Henry Hart/Kid Danger, had revealed in an interview that this is going to be the final season for the show.
Henry Danger, which is an American comedy television series created by Dan Schneider and Dana Olsen has now run for almost six seasons before wrapping up the production. It is the longest-running live-action sitcom on Nickelodeon. The series has a total of 128 episodes till date.
Is Henry Danger getting a new spin-off?
Brian Robbins, who is the president of ViacomCBS Domestic Media Networks said in an interview, “A key part of our content strategy is to grow original franchises like Henry Danger by expanding their worlds through new characters and more high-stakes adventures.”
According to Robbins, the mega-hit series, ‘Henry Danger’ will be developed into a spin-off ‘Danger Force”. For this spin-off, a new set of characters will take place of the original cast members for this series.
The spin-off “Danger Force” created and executive produced by Christopher J. Nowak. Cooper Barnes and Jace Norman are the producers of the series. While Jace Norman played “Henry Danger” in the original series, this time he is returning as the producer of the spin-off. Norman has starred in the title role of Henry Hart for the previous five seasons of Henry Danger.
The Nickelodeon live-action series, Danger Force was released on 28 March 2020. While it was indeed disheartening that this long-running series ended, but Danger Force looks like an interesting reprisal.
