Group FaceTime will be rolled out few months after iOS 12 official release this September

For those who are eagerly waiting for the official iOS 12 update as it will bring Group FaceTime feature too, will have to wait for some more time as the feature is being removed from the official update. Apple has decided to withdraw the Group FaceTime feature for the initial release of iOS 12 scheduled to release in September as it has run into some issues. Instead, the feature will be rolled out later this fall.

Group FaceTime is a one-of-a-kind group video calling feature on iOS 12 that enables 32 people to connect with each other at the same time. Everyone you are talking with will have a tile on the screen that will switch its position and change its size depending upon who is speaking. It means that those who are talking on a maximum 32 group video chat, their tile on the screen will grow bigger while those who aren’t speaking, their tile will reduce in size.

The feature was unveiled at 2018 WWDC keynote which enticed Apple users, however, as it has run into problems which might not be resolved till September, Apple users will have to wait for few more months as Apple will roll out the feature few months after the initial release of iOS 12. Last year, features like Apple Pay Cash, AirPlay 2, and Messages in iCloud were withdrawn from iOS 11 initial release as it was only after few months that Apple was able to roll out the feature. Stay tuned to know more.
