After the first release of the movie in 1962, Legendary Pictures has confirmed the release of Godzilla vs. Kong in their chain of movies. However, the film is set to release on May 21st 2021 after failing to make enough progress to release on their originally proposed release date. The ongoing pandemic pushed the release back from November 2020 as studios were forced to shut down.
Godzilla vs. Kong comes as a sequel to some very iconic movies including Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Kong: Skull Island. The film is also set to be directed by Adam Wingard who also directed films Death Note.

The movie is all about the clash of the two titans in the form of Godzilla and Kong. They are widely known all around the world and are probably the two most iconic fictional monsters. It is also regarded as a wildly ambitious crossover as both Godzilla and King Kong huge franchises on their own. With the Godzilla franchise having 36 movies to its name and the Kong franchise having 12.
However, the movie will portray the epic battle between two of earth’s mightiest warriors. Apart from the action, Godzilla vs. Kong will also show some human involvement as they hatch a plan to slay both the monsters.
