Ghostbuster is a 1984 American supernatural comedy film. The film is directed by Ivan Reitman and written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. It was loved by critics and became a cultural phenomenon. The audience liked it for comedy, action, and horror. Ghostbuster 3 direct sequel “Ghostbusters Afterlife” is planned and is scheduled to release in March 2021.

Brief Details About Ghostbuster 3 –

Ghostbuster 3 is set 30 years after the second film. This would be the fourth film in the Ghostbuster franchise. This is directed by Jason Reitman and written by Reitman and Gil Kenan. The film was scheduled to release in July 2020, but due to the global pandemic, the date has to be pushed back.

A family moves to a small-town where they discover their connection with the original Ghostbusters. They also discover their grandfather’s secret legacy. Part 3 has been in various stages of development.

Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts will be seen in the same role. Seeing the original cast is like nostalgia for the audience. They have already shot their part in the sequel revealed by an original cast. Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, and Mckenna Grace will be a new addition in the cast. Paul Rudd will be seen as Mr. Grooberson, who will be a young kids teacher.

The director of the film has also revealed the first look image of the family. The family is going to catch hold of the supernatural spirits this time.

Brief Background Of Ghostbuster –

Peter Venkman, Raymond “Ray” Stantz, and Egon Spengler are shown as a scientist at Columbia University. They are investigating the paranormal. At New York Public Library, they have their first encounter with ghost manifesting. They are fired by the dean and dismiss the credibility of their research. After that, they create “Ghostbusters,” a paranormal investigation and elimination service.

They develop high-tech equipment by converting a disused firehouse in which they capture and contain ghosts. They also convert a combination car into the “Ectomobile” to support their business. Soon their business boom in New York City.
