Ghost of Tsushima Legend Co-Op Mode is coming up with new mode

Ghost of Tsushima breathed into a new life in the samurai games released in 2020 for the PlayStation 4. The game has been praised for its open-world environment and intuitive combat. Now its developer decided to give the audience a chance to play along with their friends in the new update. The news was shared via the blog post by the developer.

Review of Ghost of Tsushima

The game was launched as a single-player campaign that puts the player in Japan during the Mongol invasion. The player plays as Jin Sakai, a samurai who has to learn new techniques. These techniques are used to defeat invaders. With the upcoming update, players will experience a different mode that will not follow Jin’s story. A senior game designer in a blog post shared that four warriors will be seen who have been built up as legends in stories told by the people of Tsushima.

The single-player campaign focuses on one open world and exploring the beauty of the island and all this is haunting. The locations and enemies in the game are inspired by Japanese mythology. Emphasis on cooperative combat and action is there in the game. The players will be able to partner with their friends. They can also do matchmaking. They can play in groups of two to four players.

Additionally, two players can get together. They will be able to play a series of co-op story missions and there will be a magical twist and the difficulty level will also increase. Wave based survival missions are also added in the game. New Oni enemies with supernatural abilities are also there in the game. The developer has also shared in a media update that the four-player raid system will be launched in a short span of time after the launch of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.

Those who own the base game will be able to use it as a free mode. Till now no fixed release date has been announced for the new version.
