They will be featuring in a new television show called Celebrity Escape Room in the coming months.
In a recent turn of events, it has been confirmed that Friends co-stars, Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox will be reuniting on the small screen. The two stars will be a part of one television show, which is expected to air in the next few months. When the news initially came out, many fans assumed that it might be a form of Friends reunion. Unfortunately, this is not true. There have been many talks surrounding a Friends reunion, however not much has been able to happen around that front. The possibility of a reunion has been delayed indefinitely.
While the Friends reunion can take place when it has to, what we are aware of is the fact that Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow will be reuniting on a new programme called Celebrity Escape Room. The show is expected to release on May 21st, 2020. This will mark Red Nose Day in the U.S.A.
What is Celebrity Escape Room all about?
The programme features Jack Black as the host. It seems like he will be putting his celebrity friends to an inevitable test. They are all forced to work together and at the same time, they are also experiencing a lot of pressure. It is under this pressure that they will be required to solve their puzzles and escape the room. They have to unlock a series of surprising puzzle rooms that will be clocked against making their escape possible.
What else do we know about the show?
The main producer behind the show is Ben Stiller. He is also a part of the programme along with the other actors. Another star who will be a part of this show is Adam Scott. In a recent statement, NBC further confirmed that they plan on presenting and musical line-up for the upcoming sixth annual Red Nose Day. This will also include initiatives that feature Bryan Cranston and Saved By The Bell star, Mario Lopez. Apart from this, we also have Milo Ventimiglia who is making an appearance. For those who are unaware, Milo has been a part of This Is Us in the past.
During the event, we also have the Voice UK coach, Meghan Trainor who is expected to perform alongside Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. In addition to this, we also have Ellie Goulding and Sam Smith to be participating in the upcoming initiative.
The initiative is actually quite old as it was launched back in 2015. It managed to raise nearly $200 million to date. However, due to the current coronavirus situation, it is highly possible that the fundraising may face a delay. Individuals may not even receive the opportunity to attend the show and there’s a possibility that they are simply handed digital DVD’s to the show.
