Season 3 of Netflix’s Sex Education is finally in production after facing several delays earlier on due to the pandemic. Season 3 was officially confirmed in February earlier this year. Netflix recently released a video showing the cast get back to the set whilst following the necessary safety precautions.

With season 3 now underway, here’s what we know about what’s to come.
Sex Education Season 3 Release Date
Although an official release date hasn’t been set yet, we assume it will be sometime in mid-2021, considering that filming just resumed and 2020 is almost over. Expect the official trailer to roll out a month or so before release.

Season 3 Plot
Laurie Noons Sex Education is a comedy-drama starring Espa Butterfield as an insecure teenager, Otis and Gillian Anderson playing her mother Anderson, who is a sex therapist.
At the end of season 2, Gillian discovers she is pregnant with Jakob’s baby, even though the two have now split-up.
Otis declares his love for Maeve to her via a voicemail, but Isaac, who himself has feelings for Maeve, deletes the message before Maeve gets to it.
As a result of this, Maeve will probably never acknowledge a voicemail she never received, and Otis will probably avoid her next season to avoid an awkward confrontation.
We’ll also most likely get to see the relationship between Otis’ ex Ola and her excellent friend Lily the next season.
Meanwhile, Eric is fighting his feelings for Adam, and we will get to see how that arc unfolds in season 3 as well.
