Fantastic Beasts is a 2016 fantasy film with a joint British and American production. It is a spin-off of and prequel to the Harry Potter film series. As per the updates by the creator, Fantastic Beasts would be coming up with part 3.

As the announcement made by the creator, part 3 would release in 12.Nov.2021. The production started in spring 2020. One of the stars revealed that the change is date was made because the cast needed more preparation time. Till now, no official teaser or trailer has been released.
Eddie Redmayne will be again seen as Newt Scamander, Dan Fogler as Polish-born wizard Jacob Kowalski, and Katherine Waterston as Porpentina Goldstein. Jude Law will be reprising his role. He will be seen as the much-younger version of the legendary Hogwart’s headmaster. Johnny Depp will also be back in the role of main villain Gellert Grindelwald.
The producer of the film on his Twitter account has revealed that it will be set during the 1930s in Rio de Janeiro.

The film is directed by David Yates and produced and written by J.K Rowling. It is inspired by her 2001 guidebook of the same name. The ensemble cast is shown in the film. It is the 1st installment in the Fantastic Beasts film series and 9th in the Wizarding World franchise.
In the year 1926, Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion. The purpose was to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. For a brief stopover arrives at New York. He might have come and gone without incident. Was it not for a No-Maj named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds?
