Similar was the journey of Warner Bros., who once upon a time, had a difficult time in searching for the right first steps into DCEU’s initial productions. Notably, this went on to include Suicide Squad, which was none other than David Ayer’s creation. The film released back in 2016 and was a massive hit at the box office. The audience enjoyed a new take of superheroes and all went well for all those who were involved in this project.

Even though, the trailer was an absolute killer and there was a lot of hype surrounding the movie, the critics were not quite impressed with how the movie ended up panning out. In response to this, Ayer began referring to his studio and different lines of the characters that had come out through the project recently. The actor himself wanted to represent a modern version of a gangster, wherein he is covered with ample of tattoos and is rocking silver teeth. One of his tattoos made a clear indication to Batman and the same has been confirmed by the director as well. One of the tattoos on Joker’s body included the word, ‘Damaged’ on his arm. Many fans have wondered whether this is a reference directly made to the age-old enemy, Batman. However, until now, none of these rumours were confirmed.
