Emilia Isobel Euphemia Rose Clarke is an English actress known most notably for her portrayal of queen Daenerys Targaryen in the super-hit HBO television series A Game of Thrones. People who do not know her actual name will most likely recognize her as Queen Dany from Game of Thrones, such is the extent of her popularity. She has studied at the Drama Centre London and has appeared in various stage performances. Her acting debut came as a guest in an episode of BBC soap opera Doctors in 2009. She was named one of the UK Stars of Tomorrow for her role in the movie Triassic Attack.

Clarke was born on October 23, 1986, and is aged 34. Her parents are Jennifer and Peter Clarke and she has a brother, Bennet Clarke. Her height is 1.57m. She has appeared in several famous TV shows and movies alike, some of them being Game of Thrones, Star Wars Forces of Destiny, Terminator: Genesys, Me Before You, and Solo: A Star Wars Story.

How was Emilia Clarke Early Life?

When Emilia was three, she saw the musical Show Boat and developed an interest in acting. She auditioned for the musical The Goodbye Girl at the age of ten. She has attended Rye St Antony School in Headington and St Edward’s School, Oxford. Clarke ended up graduating from the Drama Centre London in 2009.

Career 

Whilst attending minor stage roles here and there while attending school, one of Clarke’s first appearances in a movie came in Drop the Dog, a short film. Clarke worked at various non-acting jobs between auditions. After that, and a commercial or two, her first professional film role came when she played Savannah in the 2010 TV film Triassic Attack. The role earned her a spot in the UK Stars of Tomorrow list by the Screen International magazine.

In 2010, Clarke was cast as Daenerys Targaryen in HBO’s Game of Thrones, and the rest is history. The show turned out to be one of the most-watched and highest-grossing shows ever, and she was one of the show’s most important characters, alongside the likes of Kit Harrington’s John Snow and Lena Headey’s Cersei Lannister. The role won her a ton of awards and is most likely the reason you know who she is today.

Clarke played Sarah Connor alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T800 in 2013s Terminator: Genesys, and was the lead female role in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
