Fans will finally receive an opportunity to unravel whether the kingdom of science will defeat the brute forces of Tsukasa.
When the first season of Dr Stone released, it was a major hit among its viewers. Directed by Shinya Lino, it ended up leaving a lot of questions unanswered. While the fans were certain that there would be another episode coming up for the same, what they weren’t sure about when they would be able to receive the answers to the many questions that they had, as a result of the cliff hanger that the first season left us with.
For those who have seen the first season of Dr Stone, already know that the story is basically set against a world where there are no traces of the human civilisation. The human-kind have experience extinction and the world has been reset to the stone age times. The anime’s creator, Riichiro Inagaki, wanted to create an intense environment in which there are no traces of the human kind and the world was effectively dominated by an unidentified species. As far as the story-line of the anime is concerned, there isn’t anything new that the show is bringing to the table. In fact, many have even described the show to be quite a cliché. In terms of the character development, the show does not attempt to explore a lot more. However, it is the setting that adds spice to the characters.
One of the main things on which the anime heavily relies are the scientific principles and inventions taking place. This is considered to be quite interesting as well. The love that the viewers have for the anime characters are focused on Senku, the teenage genius who provides the viewers a chance to explore real science. In the show, Senku is able to make use of his knowledge and skills to achieve goals, while not relying on luck or man-power – both of which are two important elements representing the human-kind. Another one of the main reasons why the show has been such a massive hit is its pseudo-science elements that are used to achieve progress in the plot.

Dr Stone Season 2 Plot Line
As explained previously, the story-line of Dr Stone Season 2 is quite simple. We are able to discover that Tsukasa is working towards making use of brute force to rule the world. They also want to destroy all the old social structures that have been prevailing since human-kind. If there are any traces of the same, they want to get rid of that as well. At the same time, we have Senku whose only motive is to rebuild a scientific world and battle out to understand which force is more powerful.
The second season is expected to release in July, 2020.
