The hilarious team of Brooklyn nine nine will be back with yet another season. The long wait will be over as season 8 is expected to be aired on January 2021. While NBC published in June that Brooklyn nine nine will be back in autumn this year but it has been delayed and it is no surprise taking into consideration the current situation.The writers have started to work on the season, and they are focusing on morally addressing the current issues in the show.

The show first premiered on September 17, 2013. It has done 7 seasons and 143 episodes. The series was first aired in Fox but later on canceled and NBC picked up the series. The creators are Dan Goor and Michael Schur. The original language of the show is English.

Plot

This sitcom portrays the life of the officers of the Brooklyn 99 precinct headed by Captain Ray Holt. It portrays Jake Peralta, a smart but immature detective who often gets into trouble with his superior. It shows the hilarious interactions and solving of the crimes of Jake along with his lovable colleagues. Brooklyn nine nine aka B99 displays a variety of people breaking stereotypes and dealing with current issues through humor.

The final season ended with Jake and Amy having a baby and the upcoming season is expected to show how both of them juggle between their personal life and work life and assumptions are there are chances that the current issues of George Floyd and corona can be part of the script.
