It seems like the director was already in talks with the production team regarding a possible beginning of the second season. However, the same seems to have been paused at the moment. The season is expected to remain paused for a prolonged period of time. Sources close to the project have suggested that the earliest date on which the second season can possibly air is mid-2021.
