Death Note is an American supernatural thriller film—the film released in 2017. The film is adapted from the Japanese mega-series of the same name which is created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. A sequel is currently in the works, and Greg Russo will write the screenplay.
Brief Details About Death Note 2 –
No official date of release has been announced. If it follows the pattern of the 1st film, then the audience will 1st get to see it on a bigger screen and then on Netflix.
The creators have not yet announced anything on the plot of the story. If sources are to be believed, it will continue where the 1st film left off. The rules of Death Note got some big changes in the 1st film. The person writing in its pages was given the power to control their victims. Now the audience is curious to know whether any new rules will be added in part 2.
The cast of part 2 is also under wraps. Not many details are available. Qualley’s Mia Sutton is unlikely to return as she became the antagonist of the first film. She was also killed in the end.

Adam Wingard directed the film and written by Charles & Vlas Parlapanides and Jeremy Slater.
In Seattle Washington Light Turner stumbles across the Death Note. He is a high schooler. Death Note is leather made mysterious notebook. Instruction is written in the book that if anyone’s name is written down within it, the person will die in the same prescribe in the notebook. Light is sent to detention after he confronts that Mia Sutton is being harrassed by Kenny Doyle. There he meets the death of God Ryuk. He writes Doyle’s name and sees him killed in an accident.
The film received mixed reviews from the audience.
