Dead to Me will be returning to Netflix for a third and final season. The dark comedy starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini as two friends brought together by tragedy, is full of plot twists and shocking revelations. Season 1 aired all ten of its episodes on May 3, 2019.
Season 2 brought another 10 episodes with it a year later on May 8, 2020. Together the two seasons have mustered an impressive IMDB rating of 8.0 out of 10 for the show, which goes to show how well received it has been.

Dead to Me Season 3 Release Date
Dead to me season 1 premiered in May 2019 and season 2 in May 2020, therefore we should technically get season 3 in May 2021. However, the ongoing Pandemic will most definitely cause delays, so expect the release to move to sometime later in 2021 or possibly even 2022.

The Plot
Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini’s characters, Jen and Judy respectively, meet during a group therapy session and, as they share their grievances with each other, they bond and become good friends. The two are often seen in a dark place, metaphorically speaking.
Jen, whose husband Ted was killed in a hit and run case, copes with her tragedy by exercising and therapy. She is always on the lookout for the vehicle that ended her husband’s life. She meets Judy at her grief support group. As it turns out, Judy was the driver who had run over Jen’s Husband.
Judy eventually confesses her crime to Jen, but not before bonding with her and becoming good friends with her.
At the end of season 2, Jen admits that she murdered Steve to detective Perez, but the pair fail to locate his body. Just before concluding the episode the body is located by a stray hiker. This scene had enough suspense in it to keep fans eagerly waiting for season 3. The next season will show us Jen faces the consequences of her actions and how it will affect her relationship with Judy.
