Dead to Me is an interesting series with a tragicomedy premise. Created by Liz Feldman, this American dark comedy web television series is now coming to an end. Dead to Me is now updated for its third and final season.
Showrunner Feldman remarks about this journey with the protagonists of the show Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini. She remarks that “this is exactly the show I wanted to make”. Liz Feldman calls Christina and Linda as her partners in crime. She also takes this opportunity to thank the cast and crew. “I am beyond grateful to Netflix for supporting Dead To Me from day one, and I’m thrilled to continue our collaboration,” she adds.
Season 2 of the series had ended with a dramatic cliffhanger which brings the duo of Jen and Judy to a tragic accident. They are the victim of the hit-and-run car crash. The driver quickly makes his escape but we certainly know who he is. It is Steve’s twin brother, Ben whose character is played by James Marsden. But if this accident is intentional or purely accidental, it will be explored in the upcoming season.
Season one of Dead to Me had premiered on Netflix on May 3, 2019. The show had returned for a second season on May 8 2020.
When will season 3 of Dead to Me release?
Netflix has ordered the third season of Dead To Me. Unfortunately, this is going to be the last season of the show.
Christina Applegate tweeted that she will “miss these ladies. But we felt that this is the best way to tie up the story of these women”. Hence the show will come full circle with its third season.
