Overview
Dark Crystal follows a similar story to that of Moana. Thra’s power lies in the Crystal of Truth which lies at its heart. The Skeksis damage this; they are bird-like creatures who ruled over the land. This resulted in sickness spreading in the land and bad things happening.
The Gelflings are the other group of races. They were peaceful and had joined the Skeksis Empire after the Age of Division. However, Three Gelflings after figuring out the harm caused to their world goes to uncover the truths about the crystal and the Skeksis. This leads to battles between the power-hungry Skeksis and the Gelflings. Will the prophecy come true?
However, Season 2 is likely to show new faces to join the battle and the adventures of the three Gelflings. The show presents deep and dramatic conflicts between the various groups. They have their system of rules and its fascinating to see how they tackle their problems and differences despite being under the rule of the Skeksis.
