The Croods: A New Age is also known as Croods 2. It is an upcoming American Computer-animated adventure comedy film. The films produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures. This will be a sequel to the “The Croods” which released in 2013. The film will be directed by Joel Crawford. There are many reports which suggest that the film will be releasing in the United States on 25 November 2020.

In the first film, they leave the cave, the Croods encounter their biggest threat. The story will continue from there. They meet another family called Betterman’s and they claim to be better and evolved. Betterman’s have an elaborate treehouse, amazing inventions, and land with fresh produce. Eep and Betterman’s daughter escape. Both the families put aside their differences and save both of them.
Recently the trailer has been released for the Croods 2. The trailer begins with Eep reintroducing the prehistoric Crood family. They are shown searching for a perfect place to call their home. An idyllic paradise soon they discover and the paradise meets their needs. But there is one problem already a family name Bettermans leave there. They are welcomed by the Bettermans who introduce them to their modern life.
The original film revolves around the importance of family and the sequel will look at unity. According to the director, “This film may be a crazy, epic, comedy-adventure, but at its heart, it’s about two very different families discovering that their future is brighter together”.
The development of a sequel is taken a long time. The production was supposed to complete in 2 years after the first film. However, the date kept changing, and in 2016 it was announced that the sequel was cancelled. But in 2017 it was announced that finally, the sequel is happening.
