This series is actually the TV-version of the original Karate Kid movies.
The Karate Kid series is a classic one and has a massive fan-following. Therefore, when it was announced that the creative minds are at work with an idea of turning the movies into a series, fans were delighted. As a result of this, we were able to see Cobra Kai. The series is nothing but a sequel to the original Karate Kids movies. The series features many big names, including Ralph Macchio and William Zabka. These two actors are expected to reprise their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence in the near future. Yes, it is true. The creators are not only planning on making a third season but a fourth and a fifth one too, is in the pipeline. The series is actually written and produced by Josh Jeald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg.

Cobra Kai Season 3 Plot Line
As mentioned in the post previously, the plotline of Cobra Kai follows the same story as the one represented in the Karate Kid movies. There is a distinguished rivalry existing between two characters. They have their own respective dojos which are at play and the different styles of the karate kids come to the forefront. The generation of students are yet to follow this interesting trend.

Cobra Kai Season 3 Release Date
It’s not been long since the creators released the second season of Cobra Kai. In fact, they were able to release the second season only on 24th April 2020. It has ended up generating a lot of positive reviews from the public in the recent past. Now, due to the increasing popularity that is leading the way, it appears that Cobra Kai has received approval for the renewal of its third season. Due to the current Coronavirus situation, it doesn’t appear like the series will enter production before the end of 2020. It remains to be seen exactly what can take place during such a situation.

As mentioned previously, we already have Ralph Macchio and William Zabka returning to their roles. However, it is also being confirmed that most of the previous actors are expected to return with the third season. The list includes:

Cobra Kai Season 4, 5 and 6 Plans Revealed
In addition to the third season, we are also expecting the fourth and fifth season to be in the pipeline. Many reports have confirmed that the third season cannot possibly be the last one. According to the original plans that were discussed among the creators of the series, they had decided that the series will in totality consist of six seasons. The last season released back on May 6th. The same is expected to be carried on until 2023. The fans actually have three more years to enjoy their latest series.
