Castlevania Season 4 releases soon, Netflix Announced

Castlevania Season 4

Streaming giant Netflix has officially renewed anime series that is based on video game series, with Castlevania Season 4, by announcing on its Twitter handles dedicated to fans.

Read on to find out all we know about Castlevania Season 4 (CAUTION: SPOILERS MAY FOLLOW )

Castlevania Season 4 Release Date

Netflix is yet to issue an official release date for season 4 of Castlevania, however, there was a 15-month gap between the first two seasons, and season 3 was released 16 months after season 2. Following that pattern, fans should expect season 4 to come out any time before August 2021, provided that the pandemic doesn’t further delay production and release.

The executive producer of the show Adi Shankar is also currently working on the devil may cry series, which might be a probable cause for further delay.

Season 4 Expected Plot

There are four parallel storylines explored in Castlevania season 3 which may hint at what might happen in season 4. Dracula’s son might change his attitude towards humans in the future, as a result of Alucard’s betrayal at the hands of Taka and  Sumi, and might even embrace the darkness that comes along with his vampiric heritage.

Carmilla can now go ahead and take over Wallachia, now that Hector is enslaved. Conflict with the other Forge Master Isaac is also possible since his powers grew considerably in season 3.

Trevor and Sypha’s future seems uncertain after having defeated the Dracula-worshipping cult in Lindenfeld. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Infinite Corridor that they closed to be opened again in the future, allowing St Germain and perhaps even Dracula himself to return in season four with Alucard’s mother in hand.
