Daniel Craig’s ‘Bond 25’ has been delayed November, 2020.
If reports are believed to be true, Daniel Craig will be featured in the upcoming ‘Bond 25’ movie for the last time as James Bond. The next Bond movie was originally going to release in April, 2020. However, due to the current Coronavirus situation, the movie’s premiere date had to experience a delay. Now, the official release date of the movie is November 25, 2020. With this, the 25th James Bond movie now experiences a delay by seven months.
‘Bond 25’ delayed and here’s why
Producers of the film, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, in a recent press statement said that they have carefully considered all the events that have been taking place and have thus, decided for the theatrical release of the movie to take place later in November this year. The statement read, “After careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace,” the best date for release would be towards the end of this year. It makes sense for them to push the release date towards the end of this year, as the Coronavirus pandemic is expected to have been settled by then. It will take time for the film industry to come back up, just like most other economies.
‘Bond 25’: Trailer, cast, crew and more
Apart from this, the movie which is titled, ‘No Time To Die’ will be nearly 163 minutes long. The first trailer of the film was released back in December, 2019.
The movie will pick up where the previous one left, i.e. it will continue the plot line that was explored in ‘Spectre.’ Along with Daniel Craig, Lea Seydoux will also be continuing her role alongside Bond. The theme that primarily surrounds the upcoming James Bond movie is the classic betrayal emotion. Madeline is speculated to backstab Bond in the worst way, the trailer suggests. Bond, in his usual, rested but powerful voice, is seen returning the favours by saying, “We all have our secrets. We just didn’t get to yours yet.”
It is safe to assume that we will be exploring Madeline’s character furthermore in the upcoming movie.
‘Bond 25’: Details of the villain released
James Bond is expected to come face-to-face with MI6-famed, Lashana Lynch. This time, she is sure to take Bond down, in case he decides to relay in another direction. However, she won’t be the villainous face that surrounds the upcoming movie. It seems like the film will primarily revolve around the secret led by Swann. Fans were extremely excited to find out that Rami Malek will also be joining the crew. It is highly possible that he reprises the role of an unnamed villain. We are expected to find out more about this, as the movie released towards the end of this year.
